Umang Exports was started by enterprising, adventurous Aquarium Fish hobbyists with a scientific outlook in the year 1995. However, since the year 1987 we were on a quest for beautiful, exotic, bizarre wild caught fishes found in Indian waters. India is a vast territory comprising of lush tropical climates as well as cold mountain climate. India has in its domain even deserts. Such incredible diversity had to have equally incredible fish. So insets our survey and simultaneous collection of aquarium worthy fish.
At present, we are India’s leading Freshwater Aquarium fish exporters offering more than 250 different species of fishes both Wild Caught & Tank Raised. We have been introducing regularly many new species into the trade every year. Presently we have a long list of very satisfied overseas customers in JAPAN, USA, EUROPE and SOUTH-EAST ASIA.
We have also won trophies & awards under New Species Fish Competition several times in AQUARAMA, SINGAPORE and have also regularly winning Awards from Govt. of India as most outstanding & adventurous Exporters of Live Aquarium Fishes. We have also authored a book with coloured photographs Titled ORNAMENTAL FISHES OF INDIA published by T. F. H. Publications / Kingdom Books of U.K which is first of its kind from INDIA.
